Found your site surfing the web. Interesting picture of the Logan Banner. My grandfather retired from there after working many years as a printer. My father was a sports reporter, news reporter, and managing editor there in the late 1950's and thru the 1960's. I spent many hours at my grandparents apartment, which was about 4 doors down from The Banner, right across from the church, the 2nd floor windows just past the satellite dish is where they raised their children and lived for more than 30 years. Thanks for the picture.
That is so interesting! I love hearing about family memories of growing up in small towns. Glad you got to see it. I have family that lived near Logan but we now live almost 2hours away in Milton. I like to drive there and take pictures to see how times have changed.
Thanks for the photos. My mother was raised in Logan during the 30's and 40's. She moved to So California after WW2 because her brother (also from Logan) was in the Navy and ended up on the West coast. I am not from the area but have a "connection" because of my mom/aunt/uncle. Her uncle owned "C.G. Steele Furniture" in Logan until his passing in 1960 or so. Regards, Randy Senior
